Leading energy training provider, AIS Survivex has been named a finalist in the Oscars of the wind industry world – the GWO Awards.
Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is the leading training body for the global wind industry and its annual awards acknowledge the best of the best amongst the world’s wind training providers.
AIS Survivex is a finalist in the Training Team of the Year for Europe category, having won the same title last year.
The company, which is part of 3t Energy Group, has been delivering GWO training since 2015 and has Renewables Training Centre of Excellence in Newcastle and Aberdeen. With one in every three wind trainees passing through its doors, AIS Survivex is the biggest supplier of wind training in the UK.
Winners of the GWO Safety Training Awards will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on 4th October, which is the finale for the GWO Forum being held in Copenhagen.
Charlie Guthrie, Head of Renewables at AIS Survivex, said:
“What fantastic news! We are thrilled to reach the finals once again in this high-profile global competition.
“Winning last year was really humbling and gave a huge boost to our hard-working team, who put everything into delivering an exceptional training experience for learners. It’s great to be in the running again as finalists and we are keeping everything crossed for a good result in October.”
