Drilling Systems were delighted to be part of the Euro Mechanical stand at this years ADIPEC, exhibiting alongside 3t Energy Group.
At this year’s ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, some of the Drilling Systems team headed out to Abu Dhabi to attend the event. The largest of its kind in the energy industry, the team and colleagues from 3t Energy Group attended alongside a reported whopping 160,000 attendees this year.
Drilling Systems were delighted to be part of the stand hosted by our Middle East partner, Euro Mechanical, where we exhibited one of our OTR (‘On The Rig’) simulators to showcase just one example of the innovative and cutting-edge simulator technologies we offer.
A real-time portable simulator, the OTR brings the incredible potential of fully immersive drilling and equipment operations, well control, and crane training directly onto the rig on-site and in situ, cutting operational and training costs by reducing travel time. With the ability to deploy training rapidly and on-demand, the OTR continuously delivers training, development, and assessment, helping to deliver better outcomes and to revolutionise how training is delivered within the drilling industry.
Whilst the OTR captivated visitors who came to the stand, it was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners and clients, whilst engaging with new ones from across the world. Working across the exhibition floor, those in attendance from Drilling Systems and 3t Energy Group took the chance to talk about all things energy industry trends, and training and development needs on a global scale, looking at how different companies are responding to an evolving industry and the rapid growth seen in many markets recently.
