Drilling Systems hires new business development manager to capitalise on Latin American market

Juan Pablo Valdivieso will work with Drilling Systems’ clients across North and South America, with particular focus on the Latin America region.

Juan Pablo Valdivieso is based in Drilling Systems’ Houston Office. Juan has a wealth of oil and gas industry experience, having spent his entire career in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Prior to Drilling Systems, Juan worked with National Oil Companies in Kuwait and Colombia building and implementing development programs for junior drilling and petroleum engineers and managing a 24hr real-time drilling operations centre. Before that he spent 16 years working for Schlumberger in a sales role primarily across the Latin American region.

Juan is bilingual in both Spanish and English and has a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and a master’s degree in project management.
