Meet Georiga!

Aberdeen customers have a new point of contact thanks to the recent appointment of account manager, Georgia Despa.

Originally from Romania, Georgia landed in Aberdeen six years ago to study politics and international relations at Aberdeen University and hasn’t left since – apart from briefly returning to her homeland during the height of the Covid pandemic.

Georgia has tons of experience in customer-facing roles. During her studies she worked part time as a receptionist and bar person at a local hotel and following graduation worked in marketing and public relations for several European firms.

This experience has helped Georgia develop her communication and problem-solving skills. Perfect for helping AIS Survivex customers find the training they need at a time that’s convenient to them!

As well as guiding delegates through the bookings process, Georgia will be on hand to help delegates identify the correct pre-requisites, check course availability and assist with scheduling training.

“AIS Survivex is a fantastic company and the work is fast-paced, exciting and every day is different. I really like Aberdeen and the people here so it’s wonderful to be in a role where I can make a real difference to the lives of local people.

Being able to help individuals build their skills and, in turn, progress their careers is really rewarding and I’m looking forward to supporting all of our delegates’ career goals.”
