Success of Newcastle recruitment event with AGR

AIS Survivex’s recent pop-up event with recruitment specialists AGR was a fantastic success attracting more than 80 people looking for help and advice to secure a job in the global energy sector.

Several attendees are expected to scoop jobs off the back of the event with many more receiving invaluable advice on how to fine-tune their CV to make them stand out from other candidates.

One of the leading energy recruitment specialists, AGR is always looking for new and experienced personnel to deliver projects for its clients all over the world and has a close working relationship with AIS Survivex.

Together AGR and AIS Survivex identify and match personnel for industry roles then deliver targeted training for a complete recruitment solution, which benefits both energy employers and individuals. This latest event aimed to help AGR raise awareness of current vacancies and required industry skills.

Maddie Wood, Training Co-ordinator at AGR, said:

“We have lots of opportunities for competent candidates and the AIS Survivex Newcastle event proved to be really useful in helping us identify personnel for these vacancies and offer training advice.

The quality of candidates from this event has been exceptional and it is a great feeling when you help someone achieve the job they are aspiring to do.”

Former military man and event attendee, James Roberts, is keeping his fingers crossed.

James said:

“I’m keen to get into wind as it’s a sector that’s growing and I’ve got all the relevant GWO certificates required.

Events like this are great for meeting recruiters face-to-face and getting an insight into the type of skills and people they are looking for.

AGR advised that adding rope access would strengthen my CV and could help me scoop my first position so I’ll be acting on their advice.”
