We’re running several fully funded groundworker, construction specialist and air source heat pump training bootcamps in Buckinghamshire this September and invite anyone aged 19 or over living in the area to enrol. (See full eligibility details at the bottom of the page).

Whether you are new to the field or an experienced worker looking to enhance your skill set, our funded programmes offer comprehensive training to meet your needs. Completion of your chosen bootcamp will guarantee you an interview with an appropriate employer.

Groundworker skills bootcamp

Typical groundworker activities include: concrete work, paving and kerbing, pipe laying, formwork and reinforcement, health & safety compliance, machinery operation and site maintenance.

Our 12-day bootcamp delivers a well-rounded programme featuring a mix of courses and qualifications.

Designed for individuals eager to start or advance their careers in the Groundworker and Construction sectors, these courses require no prior experience.

Construction Specialist Bootcamp

Our Construction Specialist Bootcamp is a designed for those seeking a management role within the construction industry. This 10 day course will provide you with comprehensive business knowledge as well as the technical skills needed to succeed in this role and lead a team effectively. Ideal for those already in a management role looking to progress, or those looking to take the next step in their career.

Air Source Heat Pump Installer Bootcamp

This Bootcamp delivers the knowledge, competencies and skills required to specify and install domestic and commercial air source heat pumps. During the 10 day course you will receive full practical training on the installation methods and maintenance of air source heat pumps, as well as essential First Aid at Work qualifications to keep you and your colleagues safe during work operations.

  • City & Guilds Minor Electrical Works
  • ITC First Aid at Work Level 3
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pumps (2924-34)
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Water Bylaws in the UK (3345-20)
