We are working closely with Skills Development Scotland to provide you with funded training, and we’re on hand to help you navigate through the full application process.

Packages Available

3t have put together seven packages of training. Although individual courses are also fundable so long as they could lead to a ‘clean energy role’. Each package includes a suite of training to support your career development. Wind technician

Wind Technician Pathway:

GWO Basic Safety Training, GWO Enhanced First Aid, GWO Advanced Rescue Training, Medicals, GWO Slinger Signaller, OPITO Helicopter Escape Training

Wind Mechanical Technician: 

GWO Basic Safety Training, GWO Enhanced First Aid, GWO Advanced Rescue Training, Medicals, ECITB MJI 10, 18, 19

Wind Electrical Technician: 

GWO Basic Safety Training, GWO Enhanced First Aid, GWO Advanced Rescue Training, Medicals, HV/LV Safe Working Practice Guidance

Wind Blade Repair Technician:

GWO Basic Safety Training, Medicals, IRATA Rope Access, GWO Blade Repair (note for 10 day Blade Repair course; travel to Newcastle is at your cost, overnight accommodation is provided)

Wind Fabric Maintenance Technician:

GWO Basic Safety Training, Medicals, IRATA Rope Access, OPITO Blaster Sprayer

 

Net Zero

Energy Assessor:

Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessments, L3 Certificate in Retrofit Assessments, L3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older & Historic Buildings

Airsource Heat Pumps:

BPEC Domestic ASHP, Water Regulations / Byelaws and hot water storage (must be an existing Plumber)

Who is eligible?

You may qualify if you:

Have worked in oil and gas within the past 24 months (extended timeframes available for certain return-to-work cases).

Are based in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire, or work for a company located there.
