Technical Product Manager (Reporting)Remote, UK

3t is currently looking to recruit a Technical Product Manager (Reporting) on a permanent contract. This is a remote role, however there will be some expectation to to attend client meetings, workshops, team meetings etc.

The Role

3t Digital offers B2B learning software and content to safety critical industries. As a Technical Product Manager (Reporting) at 3t Digital, you will work across teams to ensure that our product is built productively in a way that provides the best value and support for our customers. You will report to the Head of Product, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands. The product team is comprised of a head of product, two product managers and a UX designer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Roadmap Development and Data Strategy

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a detailed product roadmap for 3t Digital’s new in-built reporting dashboard and related features based on market trends, customer needs, and business priorities.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders, and market research to refine the reporting product roadmap.
  • Use internal analytics to drive decisions on feature enhancements and roadmap priorities.
  • Work with engineering and data teams to ensure accurate data collection, storage, and retrieval for reporting.
  • Understand data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and ensure reporting tools comply with relevant legal requirements.
  • Explore opportunities for AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and automated report generation.

Feature Definition & Prioritisation

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise reporting features and enhancements.
  • Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to ensure clear requirements for the development team.
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog and make decisions on trade-offs to maximise the impact of each release.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact between business stakeholders and the development teams you work with.
  • Work closely with engineering, UX, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of highquality features.
  • Coordinate with the customer success and sales teams to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with customer success teams to drive adoption of new reporting functionalities through guides, webinars, and support documentation.

Agile Development Process

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Track progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders, keeping them informed of product updates and delivery timelines.

Customer Advocacy

  • Deeply understand customer needs and advocate for their perspective throughout the development process.
  • Monitor how customers use the reporting tools and identify opportunities for improvement.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and keep the product competitive.
  • Participate in research and analysis to support product positioning, pricing, and feature prioritisation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong experience data/reporting and of building a reporting dashboard / related features from 0-1.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-focused requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience using Power BI or other analytics tools.
  • Passion for building products that solve real customer problems and drive business value.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working experience of Generative AI / Machine Learning algorithms to analyse data and generate new content.
  • Experience in the broader energy sector and/or in a business focused on education or compliance.
  • Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Retool, or similar.
  • Background in UX/UI design principles and customer experience optimisation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
