Client overview
Angola LNG (ALNG) operates one of the world’s most modern LNG processing facilities, located in Soyo, Angola. As part of a major expansion and nationalisation initiative, ALNG aimed to increase production capacity while investing in the development of local talent. This included the onboarding of newly hired maintenance interns across electrical, mechanical and instrumentation disciplines.
The challenge
With a growing workforce and a commitment to nationalisation, ALNG needed a fully bespoke training, coaching and assessment programme to upskill newly hired interns. The programme had to address a wide range of challenges including language, cultural, educational, and experience gaps, while aligning with ALNG’s operational standards and local content strategy.
