The Role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UX Designer with a strong background in SaaS and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of user research methodologies, a proven track record of working in agile environments, and a passion for creating intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly designs. Experience with learning platforms or compliance management systems is a significant plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
UX Strategy & Design:
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create cohesive and scalable user experiences.
User Research:
- Conduct and analyse qualitative and quantitative user research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Synthesise research findings to inform design decisions and advocate for the user’s perspective throughout the product development process.
- Continuously gather feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and improve the user experience.
Agile Collaboration:
- Work within agile teams, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with product owners and developers to ensure UX designs are implemented effectively and meet user needs.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the agile process, balancing user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
Design Systems & Accessibility:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
- Champion accessibility best practices, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed WCAG standards.
- Stay updated on the latest UX trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively share knowledge with the team.
Specialisation in Learning Platforms or Compliance Management (Preferred):
- Leverage experience with learning platforms or compliance management systems to design solutions that enhance user engagement and compliance outcomes.
- Understand the specific needs and challenges of users in these domains, and tailor design solutions accordingly.

Experience:
- 5+ years of UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on SaaS and enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience in user research, including planning, conducting, and analysing research activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in agile environments, collaborating closely with product and development teams.
Skills:
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first design principles, and design systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices, with experience implementing them in design projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working on learning platforms or compliance management systems.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of designing for these specialised platforms.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
